Rachel Davey is a current parent who has personal experience with all the Family Boarding program has to offer.
It is the goal of Glenlyon Norfolk School to enrol a diverse student body united by every student's ability and interest in an international education and global citizenship, and passion for the fine arts and/or athletics. Through the generous support of GNS current and past families, alumni and friends, funds are provided for bursaries and entrance scholarships.
Entrance scholarships are available to qualified students applying to Grades 6 to 12. Eligibility criteria for an entrance scholarship include a record of outstanding academic achievement confirmed by previous school reports and academic references, and a commitment to the fine arts and/or athletics confirmed by references. Also taken into account are the applicants' results on the entrance tests (that should be equivalent to an 'A' standing) and the interview with the Director of Admissions, Principal or Head of School. Entrance scholarships are worth up to a maximum of $5,000 of annual tuition fees.
The school makes every effort to enable families to meet the financial challenges of an independent school education. Families wishing to apply for a bursary may use the online application form (Financial Aid for Canadian Students) and can specify this on our online application form.
GNS Community Scholarships
Glenlyon Norfolk School is proud to once again introduce the GNS Community Scholarships, which will provide $10,000 entrance scholarships for new Senior School students (Grades 9 to 12) starting school with us in the fall of 2018. These scholarships are renewable annually, provided that each recipient meet or exceed our expectations in terms of contributions to the GNS community.
