By Nancy Fletcher The annual Independent Schools Art Show was hosted this year by Selkirk Montessori School on Saturday, May 4.
The collaborative exhibition showcased selected artwork from JK to Grade 8 students from 10 South Island independent schools. Student work was chosen based on excellence in craftsmanship and commitment to the creative process. GNS was well-represented, with work from several students. This annual event provides a wonderful opportunity for ISA schools to come together to celebrate the visual arts and share the students’ creative endeavours with parents and the wider community.
