Gryphon Boarding at Glenlyon Norfolk School is a premier program in Victoria, BC, offering double-occupancy rooms with private ensuites and 24/7 live-in staff for international students in beautiful heritage homes located minutes away from our campus. Our goal is to provide safe and comfortable student housing at one of the best International Baccalaureate boarding schools in Canada.

Gryphon House is home to up to 23 students. All rooms are double occupancy, each with a private ensuite bathroom. Students have their own bed, desk and dresser, and roommates are carefully matched by our boarding team staff. Two common areas—one on each floor—can be used by students to visit, work on homework together, and build community. There are two experienced full-time live-in staff and teachers are available during evening prep time to assist with homework.
At 14,000 square feet, Gryphon Manor offers an intimate “boutique” experience for just 15 students. Imagine: ensuite bathrooms, professionally designed lounges, and a high-performance university-prep environment—all within walking distance of campus.
Countless opportunities for weekend activities exist in the local community as well as other parts of Vancouver Island and the province of British Columbia. Weekend schedules are posted well in advance so that students can plan which activities they will choose. Options could include sports, shopping trips for necessities, excursions around Vancouver Island and to Vancouver, hiking, beach visits, museums, karaoke, cooking classes, etc.
A GNS family host program is available for long weekends and some holidays. This is designed to help students integrate with the community and to get a Canadian family experience.
