This August, Glenlyon Norfolk School is proud to host a two-week, in-person Artificial Intelligence program for both Middle and Senior School students, led by Inspirit AI—an education organization founded by Stanford and MIT graduates. Open to students from any middle or high school, this unique learning opportunity connects curious minds with cutting-edge AI knowledge and real-world applications, right here in Victoria.

Future-Ready Learning, Right Now
Running weekdays from August 11 10 22, the program offers daily sessions (Middle School: 9:00 a.m. to 12:00 p.m. | Senior School: 1:00 to 4:00 p.m.) that blend foundational AI instruction with engaging, hands-on projects. Whether students are exploring how AI powers self-driving cars, ChatGPT or Netflix recommendations, they will leave with a deeper understanding of how this technology is reshaping industries—from healthcare and finance to art, journalism and space exploration.
Students will work alongside instructors and researchers from top global universities—including MIT, Stanford and Harvard—gaining insight not only into the technical side of AI but also into its social implications, ethics and real-world potential for impact.

Connecting to Our Mission of Innovation
At GNS, we believe in fostering curiosity, creativity and purpose-driven learning. Our design, robotics and digital media programs have laid a strong foundation in innovation and problem-solving. The Inspirit AI program adds a powerful new layer to this journey—giving students the chance to explore the role of AI in shaping a more equitable and sustainable future.
Participants will engage in mentor-led AI for Social Good projects. Middle School students might explore AI and disaster relief, mask detection for public health, or interactive art. Senior School students will take on complex problems like detecting exoplanets, predicting stock market trends through sentiment analysis, or using digital phenotyping to support mental health.
These experiences not only build computational thinking and programming skills but also develop essential 21st-century competencies—collaboration, ethical reasoning, data literacy and systems thinking.

A Launchpad for Lifelong Impact
More than just a summer course, Inspirit AI has a strong record of helping students find their purpose and passion. Past participants have gone on to attend leading universities such as Stanford, MIT, Princeton and Oxford, using their AI projects as part of their college applications and future ventures.
With many of today’s careers—and those yet to be invented—requiring a deep understanding of AI and its applications, this program is a powerful investment in student potential.
