Beach Drive Project Update February 2020

The Main Building at Beach Drive is beginning to take shape, as the superstructure of the facility combining wood and steel and concrete has been erected so that the unique roofline is becoming visible. Enclosing this structure will start with exterior framing and roof installation very shortly. In the photo, you will see large prefabricated wood glulam columns (wrapped in white poly) that will be revealed as stunning architectural features in time. The Junior School students are excited to see their future home taking shape! Within a couple of months, once the building is watertight, dry trades such as electrical and plumbing can begin their work on the inside of the building. Our target occupancy date for the Main Building is Spring 2021, but we are hopeful that it might take place earlier.
