Craig was an honour roll student and an important member of the sports program, most notably playing basketball, soccer, tennis and badminton. In his first few weeks of starting at GNS, he was a member of the CAIS U-13 Soccer Tournament team that was runner-up in Halifax. However, he truly excelled as a golfer.

He’s now an investment adviser, and will tell you that the $100 junior membership at Victoria Golf Club was the best investment his family could make! He says, “It was a steal—I played there all the time.”

His tournament record speaks for itself:

  • 2003 third at Pacific Coast Amateur, Semifinalist at Canadian Amateur Championship, Four Nations Cup—Canadian Team Member
  • 2004 Stocker Cup champion, World Amateur Team—tenth place individual, Bell Canadian Open qualifier at Glen Abbey, Pacific Northwest Mid Amateur winner
  • 2005 Four Nations Cup—Canadian Team Member
  • 2007 Stocker Cup champion, PGA of BC Tournament of Champions winner
  • 2009 Canadian Mid-Amateur runner-up
  • 2010 Runner-up at Canadian Mid-Amateur
  • 2012 Winner at Victoria City Amateur (fifth title), 3rd at Canadian Mid-Amateur, Runner-up at Canadian Master-40 Division
  • 2014 Winner British Columbia Mid Amateur and BC Master-40 Division
  • 2017 PGA of BC Tournament of Champions winner
  • 2021 BC Men’s Mid-Amateur Champion, and US Amateur Championship qualifier.
