On Friday, May 10, fourteen intrepid GNS students joined their peers from across Victoria at the South Island Regional Heritage Fair at the Royal BC Museum. The students were each responsible for producing a research project that highlighted different elements of Canada’s heritage. Each created a display that highlighted the inquiry-based learning skills they have honed through the IB’s Primary Years Programme, to great effect. The students’ work was evaluated by judges, and the top performers will be invited to the BC Heritage Fair at the University of Victoria. Results will the fair should be available next week; in the meantime, many congratulations to the students for their exceptional efforts and for representing their school and themselves so admirably!
