Arrive in Five Walk and Roll Zones

As part of this plan, the City has recently installed two “Arrive in Five Walk & Roll Zones” in our neighbourhood—one in the 1700 block of Gonzales Avenue and one on Richardson Street at Pemberton Park (see map insert). The City of Victoria has deemed these designated unrestricted parking zones as safe and accessible locations for parents to drop off or pick up their children within a five-minute walk to the school. The implementation of this plan is intended to ease vehicle congestion in front of the school on Richmond Avenue and reduce traffic on Quamichan Street and Maddison Street.
