Last week, Middle School students made the yearly trek up to Camp David. The overnight camp is a GNS tradition that provides a whole-school bonding experience—the first of the new school year. Students had a blast zip-lining in the forest, practising their archery skills, swimming like the polar bears, and more! One highlight of the camp was the Jellybean Challenge – each student was given a jellybean in their house colours that they had to preserve for the duration of camp. After camp, fewer than At assembly on Wednesday, student and teacher representatives from each house were presented with an opportunity: eat one of the veteran jellybeans* and double their house’s points. All of the representatives accepted – excellent risk-taking, Gryphons! A huge thanks to all the teachers who never fail to make Camp David such an amazing experience!
