Congratulations to the Class of 2019! This remarkable group of personalities has accomplished a lot during their time at GNS. Our grads completed 1947 hours of service this year and 6310 hours during their time as Senior School students. To achieve this feat, some grads founded a program to help seniors use technology to stay in touch with loved ones. Others helped people connect to nature through conservancy groups, ecological restoration, and volunteering at nature centres. And some mentored younger students in academics, theatre, music, and sports. These 55 Gryphons have earned an average of 3.3 offers of acceptance from post-secondary institutions across Canada and around the world. They have chosen to attend schools as nearby as the University of Victoria, and as far away as London, England, and Queenstown, New Zealand. And collectively, they have earned offers of over $739,000 in scholarships. We are so proud of all of you and look forward to hearing about all of your upcoming adventures.
