JS Round Square Hosts Crazy Sock Day

Long socks, fuzzy socks and socks of all colours and designs could be seen throughout the Beach Campus on November 22.

The Junior School Round Square group held a crazy sock day where students and staff were encouraged to wear crazy socks in exchange for bringing a pair of warm socks to donate.

Junior School students collected all of the socks from home rooms and ended up with quite a large pile.

As a school there were more than 200 pairs of socks donated to Our Place Society, all of which are appreciated as the shelter give out nearly one hundred pairs of socks each day!

The Junior School Round Square group focuses on bringing leadership opportunities to older students. The students were the ones who organized the Crazy Sock day and set up buckets in every classroom to collect donations.
