Thank you to all who attended the “Marijuana is Legal: Now What?” event last week. Thanks to your engagement, we initiated a dialogue to further our understanding of the risks and realities associated with youth and substance use. Jenny Thomson and Reg Flemming facilitated a dynamic dialogue which encouraged us to examine our own beliefs and values around this complex issue. This was a great start! A special thank you and Congratulations to Jessica Soule for her commitment and advocacy. Her contribution and passion for a harm reduction approach have been a tremendous gift to this school. Dawn Nordin will email the powerpoint and research cited to everyone who registered through Blackbaud. If you would like further information, please email her at [email protected]. There are health and wellness resource materials available in Upper Simpson.
