Thank you to all who attended the “Marijuana is Legal: Now What?” event last week. Thanks to your engagement, we initiated a dialogue to further our understanding of the risks and realities associated with youth and substance use. Jenny Thomson and Reg Flemming facilitated a dynamic dialogue which encouraged us to examine our own beliefs and values around this complex issue. This was a great start! A special thank you and Congratulations to Jessica Soule for her commitment and advocacy. Her contribution and passion for a harm reduction approach have been a tremendous gift to this school. Dawn Nordin will email the powerpoint and research cited to everyone who registered through Blackbaud. If you would like further information, please email her at dnordin@mygns.ca. There are health and wellness resource materials available in Upper Simpson.
