Team Science Comes to the Beach!

On Wednesday, January 8, Ms. Dallin and Dr. Hager brought three senior science students, Shreya, Riya, and Dana, to our campus to conduct some science demonstrations with the Grade 3s. The girls showed the students several things, including how to make a lava lamp, how Oobleck can act like a liquid and a solid, what happens when you put a raw egg in vinegar, and a baking soda and calcium chloride experiment that showed us what happens when chemicals mix to form an acid! The Grade 3s extend a huge thank you to Team Science for coming down to share their knowledge with the class. We all had a LOT of fun!
