By Emily Harris During the first week of Winter Break, the fun-filled Winter Wonderland camps saw 37 GNS Junior School students! The Otters (Grade 3 to 5s) led by Ms. Horne had tons of fun with a mix of activities, from making snow globes to all the exercise an Otter could ask for including playing hockey, soccer and ice skating at Oak Bay Recreation Centre. Ms. Ramm and Ms. Washington had a great group of Chipmunk (Grade 1 and 2s) crafters, creators, and relay racers. The Chipmunks also enjoyed ice skating at Oak Bay Rec and daily physical activity to keep everyone healthy and happy! The Junior Chipmunks (JK and Ks) with Ms. Lauren crafted and baked to their heart’s content, they completed a team obstacle course and bused to the gingerbread house showcase at Parkside Hotel to get inspired for their own gingerbread house decorating party. Thank you to all the families who supported the GNS External Programs in 2019. We look forward to offering more exciting programs and non-stop fun at GNS in 2020. The Pro-D Day and Spring Break Camp registration is open.
