WONDER Family Carnival Returns

GNS is preparing to once again celebrate our community with the WONDER Family Carnival on Friday, October 1. The Beach Drive Campus will be filled with laughter and fun beginning in the afternoon and running into the evening.

The event will begin at 2:45 p.m. and at 3 p.m. there will be a brief program to officially open our beautiful new Junior School campus. After that, it will be time to take in the fresh air at the beach with fun and games for the whole family!

There will be multiple bouncy houses as well as complimentary mini-donuts, popcorn and cotton candy! A variety of lawn games will be available and our own Gryphon athletics will be running some fun competitions. In years past this has been a very popular event, so make sure you join the fun this year!

If you would like to make an evening of it and stay for dinner, three food truck vendors—Deadbeetz, Grilled to the Mac and Greek on the Street—will be on site. Food voucher tickets can be purchased in advance on our website for $12 each and we encourage families to take advantage of this early bird pricing. After September 28, the cost per voucher will be $17.

Parent volunteers are still needed for the carnival and anyone interested in helping can sign up on this Volunteer Spreadsheet. Cakes are also needed for the always popular Cake Walk! Due to COVID-19 precautions, only store-bought cakes are being accepted, but they can be small, big, and any shape and size. Please drop them off on October 1 by 1 p.m. at the Beach Drive Campus.
