It's time for Spring Break FUN at GNS!
Each year, Glenlyon Norfolk School is pleased to be able to offer a variety of fun programs to keep students active during spring break! All camps and activities are open to all students aged 3 to 14 years in the Greater Victoria area.
About GNS Camps
GNS Camps is a Vancouver Island Health Authority (VIHA) licensed child care program offered during school breaks for all students ages 3 to 18. Arts, athletics, kayaking, creativity, magic and more—our programs offer something for everyone! Our camps and activities are open to both GNS and non-GNS children and families.
The cornerstone of GNS Camps is the excellent leaders, teachers and coaches, all of whom are experienced in working with students, certified in First Aid and CPR-C, criminal record checks and vulnerable sector screening. Our leaders combine creative, active and collaborative ideas to deliver a quality program that emphasises truth, courage, caring, individuality and community. For our camp groups who are under 5 years of age, the leader-to-student ratio is 1:8. For our camp groups who are over 5 years of age, the leader-to-student ratio is 1:12. Before and After Camp Care is available where age appropriate.
Spring Break Camp Schedule
March 16 to 20
This program is designed for students aged 3 to 4 years old. As the days grow warmer, the blossoms all around us are waking and filling our world once again with their beauty. Come along with us for Blooming Beauty, a GNS March Break Program. We will join together through crafts, songs and activities that celebrate the beauty of the season and celebrate the joy of growth in the natural world.
Cost: $320
Time: 8:30 a.m. to 3:30 p.m.
Ages: 3 to 4
Location: 1710 Beach Drive
Welcome to our Multi Sports Camp for students aged 5 to 7 years old. Get ready for a week of action-packed fun and movement! Campers will explore a new outdoor sport or activity each day, building skills, teamwork and confidence along the way. Campers will try various sports, including soccer, group games and testing their balance and coordination with obstacle courses. Each day, they will have an introduction to a new sport.
Cost: $300
Time: 8:30 a.m. to 3:30 p.m.

March 23 to 27
This program is designed for students aged 3 to 4 years old. Come along with us for Pete the Cat: It’s All Good, a GNS March Break Program. Each day we will read a Pete the Cat book and join together through crafts, songs and activities that celebrate the morals and themes of each story. We will share some giggles and remind our groovy selves that it’s all good.

In this playful and hands-on camp for students aged 5 to 6, young storytellers will design and create their own puppets, bringing characters to life through movement, voice, and performance. Through interactive games, creative crafting, and group storytelling, campers will build confidence and collaboration skills-all leading up to a magical puppet show at the end of the week. Whether they’re crafting, playing at nearby parks, performing, or dreaming up new adventures, every child will shine in this fun-filled exploration of puppetry and theatre! Outside of the classroom, campers will walk to nearby parks.

Join us for a week of fun and movement! Our Multi Sports Camp is the perfect blend of athleticism, teamwork, and skill-building for campers aged 7 to 10 years old. Whether your child is a budding athlete or just discovering the joy of sports, our program caters to all skill levels and interests. Each day, campers will focus on a new sport and/or activity. Campers are introduced to a new sport each day and will test their balance and coordination with obstacle courses.
