Grade 4 and 5 students put their entrepreneurial skills to the test when they hosted a Bee Sale on October 2 at the Beach Drive campus. Just outside of Rattenbury House, students dressed in their beekeeping gear as they sold a variety of products including garden plants, honey, honeycomb and lavender salts. The money raised from the sale went to support the Beach Bee Garden at the Junior School. The students had the chance to go out and talk to their customers, explaining everything they have been working on and the plans they have for the future of the bee garden. As well, students got a full entrepreneurial education—they were in charge of the money, receiving and giving back change. The Junior school has two beehives and a group that tends to the Beach Bee Garden!
