Middle School cross-country runners have been busy competing at various races and showing that Gryphon pride. On October 3, they competed at Beaver Lake. In the boys Grade 7 race Theo Serowka placed second, while Tristan Doell placed ninth. The Grade 7 girls also had a great race with Taya Thompson coming in third, Tara Bogdanvosih in eight and Katey Shaw-Lewis coming in 13. The previous week, the cross-country athletes also had an impressive performance at Lambrick Park. In the Grade 7 boys race Ben Bogdanvoich came in first place, while Theo Serowka came in third and Tristan Doell ninth. For the Grade 7 girls, Taya Thompson placed seventh. Every member of the GNS middle school cross-country team gave it their all in both of the races.Congratulations to everyone. Their last race will be October 10 at Cedar Hill — Good luck!
