On Wednesday, Grade 5 students got a thorough tour of the Pemberton Woods Campus for the annual Middle School Transition Day. They started off the morning bright and early with an assembly, which, for the Grade 5s, was their first ever assembly in Denford Hall. To get the students’ energy up, the Middle School played a game for house points to see which house could pop the most balloons. After, the Grade 6s showed the Grade 5s around Pemberton Woods. They learned about the Chromebook Programme in the Dining Hall, tried out the equipment in the Scott Fitness Centre, played games in the Gudewill Gym, and got a tour of the Music Centre, where they heard performances by Grade 6 musicians. Meanwhile in the Denford Hall, Mr. Palm gave the Grade 8s a rundown of some of the things that will be different in Grade 9. A huge thanks to every teacher who helped make another Transition Day so successful!
