Although the 2018/2019 school year is only half over, the GNS Admissions Office is hard at work adding excellent new students and families to our community for 2019/2020. Admissions is bustling, with new inquiries, applications and shadow days being arranged and processed daily. Each year an average of 140-150 great new students add to the wonderful energy and excitement in our student body at all grade levels. Judging from the momentum we are experiencing, this year will be no exception, as we are already wait-listed in Grades 5, 7 and 8, and are approaching capacity in Grade 2 as well. Interest is so great, in fact, that we are actively investigating the possibility of an additional class at both Grade 7 and 8! Buzz about GNS in the local community continues to grow, evidenced by the more than fifty families who have already registered for our spring campus-wide Open House on Friday, February 22. Please help us to spread the word to friends, neighbours and colleagues. Those who are unable to attend the Open House can take part in one of our Information Sessions held at each campus in the first week of every month. For more information about the Open House and Information Sessions, please visit the Admissions Events page of the school website or contact Director of Admissions, Marc Bavin, at mbavin@mygns.ca or (250) 370-6801.
