The new change rooms will open this summer after work was slowed by three separate unpredictable site conditions. We apologize for the protracted inconvenience the delay has caused. Students will enjoy and benefit from the improved change rooms, just as they have from the work completed in the Gym. We are very grateful to our Annual Fund donors who made this project possible. The Design Program space at PW is being updated this summer. Changes in the Atkins Building will create a larger, more open and flexible space that will better supporting student learning and access to our 3D printers in design classes. To further enhance students’ creative capabilities, we are adding a new floor-to-ceiling “green screen” to complement our existing well utilized screens in other areas of the school. The enlarged workspace will also enhance student activity in our Inventors and Phenomena Clubs, and support more cross-disciplinary learning, an integral component of our MYP IB educational program. The new equipment will allow Senior School students to take full advantage of the school’s new Laptop Program and will support Middle School students in making the best use of their Chrome Books.
