Here are the top three reasons you should consider becoming a host family:

It’s a wonderful opportunity to get more involved within the GNS community by participating in different events where you can network with other families in our community who are having shared experiences.
You get to become part of the student’s extended family. any of our host families stay in touch with students long after they leave the school. Some even get the chance to visit them in their home country!
It provides a way for the host family to learn about different cultures and customs while making life-long friends. Sharing your special traditions with the host student, and incorporating their family traditions into yours can allow you to create new traditions and memories.

Interested in becoming part of our Family Boarding homestay program as a host? GNS will be hosting a Family Boarding Host Information Night on February 15 from 6 to 7 p.m. to provide you with an overview of what is involved in becoming a host family.
