Our camps may have looked a bit different this year, but we want to thank all the families that joined in on the Summer FUN at GNS, while keeping our entire community safe. Here are our favourite moments of Summer FUN:

Marine Adventure Program: Doug Tyrell and his guides hosted many GNS and non-GNS students this summer. This camp was highly anticipated and booked solid all summer long. Doug was an amazing guide for our campers and covered all the basics of sea kayaking for the younger paddler while exploring many of Victoria’s best paddling areas.

Summer Sports Camp:

Bunny Hughes’ Field Hockey camp was a blast! Filled with tips and tricks to help players stay up-to-date until we can get back on the field.

Randy Ollech led an awesome skills and drills Basketball camp that taught participants new skills and challenged them to be their very best.

Startup Skool: The Creative HQ program encouraged curious students to explore the fundamentals of starting a real business. Through project-based activities, students learned about solving problems, thinking creatively, fashioning products, and marketing their ideas. Students explored the world of advertising by creating their own videos, building their own products, and meeting with entrepreneurs from the community via Google Meet.

Witches & Wizards Camp: Professors Ramm, Lindenbach and Howey sorted our witches and wizards into houses and helped them find their perfect wand. They led thrilling potion lessons, HP Jeopardy, and dragon egg and philosopher’s stone hunts. At the end of the week, Dumbledor made a guest appearance to tally the house scores. This camp was a highlight for both muggles and wizards alike.

Chipmunks & Ravens Camps: This camp was full of smiles, non-stop games, crafts and dance parties!

Thank you to all our leaders, coaches and teachers for putting on incredible camps! We cannot wait for next year as we continue to build our program.

Watch for our emails with announcements and news as we will be adding new camps, programs and activities for upcoming school breaks and Pro Yay Days on the Out of School Programs resource board.  PHOTO GALLERY
