Campus Tours

GNS is comprised of 3 schools, 2 locations and 1 shared philosophy.

We would love to show you around our campuses and are currently offering limited in-person tours for registered visitors only. Please submit an inquiry if you are interested in registering for a visit.
If an in-person tour isn't an option for you, we still want to provide you with a glimpse of the GNS experience through a virtual visit. We invite you to explore the resources below to get a better sense of our school facilities.

Our Beach Drive Campus

A magical waterfront setting in Oak Bay is home to our Junior School. Young students in Junior Kindergarten through Grade 5 learn at a school where the beach is their playground and sometimes even their classroom. The grounds include the original home of architect Francis Rattenbury. At the centre of the campus, this gracious, historical landmark currently hosts the library, music room and offices. In June 2017, GNS committed to a complete revitalization of our Beach Drive Campus. When complete, the new campus will marry the best of its traditions and timeless beauty with dynamic new spaces centred around inquiry-based learning and collaboration. Watch the video below for a recent update on construction, or visit our Campus Transformation Updates page.

Our Pemberton Woods Campus

Nestled in the six acres of the Pemberton Woods Campus are the Glenlyon Norfolk Middle (Grades 6–8) and Senior (Grades 9–12) Schools. Buildings are connected by pathways that lead through small gardens, giving the campus a peaceful, university-like feeling. Facilities on-site range from a 340-seat performing arts hall to art, music and band rooms; turf field; gymnasium; fitness centre; libraries; classrooms; and labs for science and information technology. Though separate, the Middle and Senior Schools share some facilities and programs, combining the advantages of age-appropriate approaches with an overall sense of community.
