Many of our Junior School students returned to school this fall to brand new classrooms, something that has not occurred at GNS for decades. The light, airy classrooms in the Junior Kindergarten and Kindergarten buildings offer a great collaborative space for learning. Similarly, the temporary learning pavillions provide bright spaces for our older students. Now that the old Gym Block and Science Block have been demolished to make way for the construction of the new Junior School Main Building, a temporary gymnasium has been erected on the lawn in front of Rattenbury House. The temporary gym is roughly the same size as the old one and we were happy to be able to reuse the floor from the previous structure. We are now well underway with Phase II of the Junior School Campus Transformation, which will consist of the Main Building and Gym update as well as the restoration of Rattenbury House.
