The goal of the Family Boarding Program is to provide a welcoming, safe, supportive, English-speaking family environment for students from other countries by arranging for them to live with GNS families—either current parents or staff.
Over the next couple of months, we will be introducing students who will be joining our community next year. Each of these students are unique and bring something special to the GNS community.
Jasmin – Grade 10
Jasmin is a kind and curious student from Germany who will be joining us for one year. She loves to read sci-fi books and dance hip-hop.
At GNS, Jasmin would like to join the Senior School Round Square because she is motivated by performing service in her community. Jasmin cares deeply about the environment and follows a vegetarian diet. She shares that the kitchen is her happy place. She loves cooking—especially baking. Jasmin is excited to share the secrets of German cuisine with her host family and have them try her famous cheesecake!
